After looking at http://zinelibrary.info/ and how to make zines. I have a great interest in Scottish history and wanted to make a zine which looks at the things we associate with Scotland. I did a lot of research into the symbols of Scotland and their history. Making the zine 10.5cm by 15cm, printing it in black and white gave the look of a small cheap-to-produce publication which is what i wanted it to be, something interesting and a little bit fun. Making a PDF file allowed it be viewed or printed online.
I intended to distributed the zine in museum gift shops/tourist information centre’s/cafe’s in my touristy home town. Although I found I couldn’t distribute the zine this way I did put some in the canteen at university and uploaded the zine to http://zinelibrary.info/right-your-kilt
